BluesParty is an “All Live” Blues/Rock music experience that celebrates the blues and rock music of the 50’s and 60’s.

The Band
Alan Nathanson – Lead Vocals and Lead guitar
Alan is a four time recording artist and former staff songwriter for Beachwood Publishing, Capitol Records. He has had his music performed and licensed in over 30 countries…Over his career, Alan has either done shows or performed with some of the biggest names in music. Acts like the legendary Wrecking Crew studio players, Procol Harem, Spirit, Ten Years After, The Zombies and Mitch Ryder to name a few… He has sung or played guitar on many sessions over the years, for American Express, Jamaican Tourism, and Hot Pockets. For TV and Movies his credits include Angel Town, Going All the Way, Paradise Motel, Adam Sandler’s Wedding Singer and the pilot for Star Search…Alan has also worked with many producers including Larry Dunn from Earth Wind and Fire, Steve Dorff, Harry Maslin (Air Supply, David Bowie, John Lennon) and Bob Destocki (Grand Funk Railroad). Alan is a founding member of Greydog.

John Van Tongeren – Organ and Piano
Not only is John a successful songwriter and TV Film composer, John has played and recorded with some of the biggest musical acts including Chicago, Jeff Beck, Meat Loaf, Rocky Burnette and Jefferson Starship…he is in great demand for recording sessions and live performances and fronts his own band Trinom 3… John is also in Greydog.

George Bunnell – Bass Guitar and Vocals
George is an original member and bass player for the legendary band the Strawberry Alarm Clock… Their big hit “Incense and Peppermint”, went number 1on the billboard charts… it still garners world wide air play on classic rock radio…George toured the world with the Beach Boys and Buffalo Springfield and still continues to record and play live shows with SAC… he is in much demand for sessions and live shows… He is a founding member of Greydog.

James Salisbury – Drums and Percussion
Jim has played with some of the greats including Delaney Bramlett and Albert Lee… He is in much demand today for sessions and club work… Jim is a founding member of Greydog.
