ABOUT THE BAND
Freddy Lopez Band featuring guest vocalist Ta’Ta Vega. Freddy and Ta’ta have been sharing the stage for over 4 decades. They are the best of friends very much family.

Ta’Ta Vega was a Motown artist for over 10 years in the early 70s. She released multiple albums while on the label as well as guesting on albums with other artists on Motown. She was invited by Quincy Jones and Steven Spielberg to sing on the film The Color Purple doing the voice of the character Shug Avery mimicking a voice from that era flawlessly. She has a very long list of musical experiences most recently spending the last 5 years touring the world with Elton John including a stint with Elton and Leon Russells comeback album and tour.

John Balbuena: Keyboards and Vocals.
John is an educator and taught in the LAUSD for multiple decades. He is a gifted and published composer and is a main contributor to many ensembles in the LA music scene.

Chris Mostert Tenor Sax.
Chris was a member of the Eagles Horn section for 20 years. He played in the Glenn Frey solo project as well as recording with all of the above.
He played for a period of time with the late Greg Allman and many other recordings in the LA studio scene.

John Avila: Bass and Vocals. Has toured with Oingo Boingo, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real. Robbie Krieger , Neil Young, Jackson Brown, Steve Vai.
John is one of the most exciting talents on this planet.

David Hunt: Drums. One of the most versatile and best pockets on the planet. Dave attended North Texas State studying drums along side players like Greg Bissonette and Tony Pia. He played in early days with Lola Falana and Blues great Cal David.
