John Cross
Powerhouse singer, songwriter and artist extraordinaire… whether he is busy designing intricate guitar wraps for the multifaceted Graphic Design/Music Production firm, Scary Creative or behind the mic, singing live with KMLS or recording original compositions, John’s artistic talents are manifested in every aspect of his life.

John began his musical career at the tender age of three and has been singing, playing guitar, bass, keyboards and writing music ever since. He started his first band when he was seventeen, an 8-piece R&B group and in the years since, he has headed more than thirty bands of varying genres. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a recording career and along the way paid the bills working at many major graphic design firms before ultimately founding his own (Scary Creative).

Paul Rosenthal
Born in the east, raised in the west (Africa that is) and now is in the middle of doing what he does best… play guitar. With influences from Buddy Guy, Santana, Dickie Betts and Jimmy Page to Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Ali Farka Toure and Jimmy Nolen, Paul plays a blend of rock, soul and blues like no one else.

He’s traded licks with the likes of ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Robben Ford. He’s also shared the stage with James Brown, Scotty Moore of the original Elvis Presley band, Johnny Lang, and Keb Mo. He’s composed music for movies and television and written theme songs for TV shows like ABC’s Supernanny, World’s Strictest Parents, It’s Me or the Dog and America’s Supernanny. Paul is a Gemini and enjoys walks on the beach…

David Bryce
Keyboardist/vocalist David Bryce also likes beating on guitar, bass, drums and one or two horns. He has played with and/or done programming for such diverse artists as Keith Emerson, Miles Davis, Lindsay Pagano, Suzanne Ciani and Joe Satriani. He currently also plays keyboards for LA area party band The Police Cars.

dB owns and operates his own state of the art professional recording studio, where he does music and audio production for a variety of clients. He is also an accomplished voice-over artist, with credits ranging from radio and TV spots in markets across the USA through industrial presentations and computer video games.

Pat Wilkins
Originally from France, bass guitarist Pat Wilkins developed his chops in Washington D.C., where he made his first record with the progressive rock band Handelscamp. Before moving to California, Pat also played for the band Spats, which featured Mike Zack (of Nils Lofgrin/Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band fame).

Pat has performed in various bands at many of the top music clubs in the LA area, including The Roxy and The Troubadour. His list of bands include The Convertibles, Scarlett, .45 and Appliance.

Pat also manufactures his own line of guitars and basses (Wilkins Guitars) which are played by many top level recording and live performing artists. Of course Pat performs with Wilkins basses, and is endorsed by Sennheiser microphones.

Pat currently plays and records with Omalgala Records artists The Psychedelic Vaqueros, and is performing live with Meg Records artist Dallas Hodge, Arista Records recording artist Tom Maclear & One More Rodeo and of course KMLS.

In an industry saturated with fly-by-night singles, auto-tune madness, and packaged artist-development, Alex refuses to conform and instead brings back the musicians to the art of music-making. Her music can only be described as a Hell-hath-no-fury collection of original music chronicling her trials and letdowns with the state of music business today. But the industry is not the only factor surrounding the creation of this musical tour-de-force.

Alex’s bout with cancer has helped shape her unique sound filled with messages of love, faith, positivity, and healing while channeling the retro soul artists of the 60’s and 70’s… Which only makes sense as she is currently touring with Salvador Santana, recently toured with Tito Jackson (of Jackson 5 fame), and has opened as a solo artist for such acts as Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, The Rascals, Evelyn “Champagne” King, The Stylistics, and Dave Mason. Most recently she has added multi-platinum selling artist Rachel Platten to that list as well. Her resume already includes 12 albums, countless jingles, and over 25 theatrical productions, as well as working with established musicians such as Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Fifth Dimension, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Desi Arnaz, Jr., Alphonse Mouzon, Brandon Fields, and Eric Marienthal.

As the music industry settles for what’s “safe”, Alex will continue to push the boundaries of music making. Her songs are a musical testament of loss and hope, failure and triumph. It is a promise to the listeners that her music will never be anything less than sincere and honest. And most importantly, it’s 100% Alex Nester groove!
