“Vintage makes a difference, and our 2018 Cabernet, which came to maturity in the year of the Woolsey Fire, had to fight through a hot year. Concentrated,
complex, and sophisticated, anise flavors come immediately through. Moreover, the strawberry, cherry, and delicate flavors of its older brother, this Cabernet Sauvignon, have slight hints of menthol and cedar that are much more subtle here and give way to a hint of herbs and smoked meat. Tight, delicate tannins make it evolve as you drink it.”
